Who I Am and Why I’m Raising Funds

My name is Niccardo Rhoden, and I appreciate the inquiries regarding ways to support my family following Hurricane Melissa. After assessing the full extent and severity of the damage, I am now seeking financial assistance to enable my family to rebuild their homes and restore their lives after this significant event. The hurricane caused considerable destruction: two of my cousins' homes were completely destroyed, and four others, including those belonging to my aunt and uncle, sustained substantial roof damage.

These houses have been part of our family for many years, filled with shared memories. Now, they are reduced to rubble and exposed walls, leaving my relatives without safe shelter or essentials.

Why This Means So Much to Me

This cause is deeply personal. My family has always been the foundation of who I am, the people who supported me through every stage of life and taught me the values of strength, resilience, and compassion. Seeing them lose nearly everything they’ve worked for is heartbreaking. Despite the destruction, they remain hopeful, and I want to help turn that hope into a new beginning.

How the Funds Will Be Used

Every donation will directly support their rebuilding and recovery efforts, including:

• Replacing damaged roofs to make homes safe again

• Rebuilding houses that were completely destroyed

• Purchasing essential materials such as building blocks, lumber, cement, and roofing supplies

• Helping replace basic household necessities lost in the storm

All funds raised will go directly to my family to help them rebuild and regain a sense of safety and stability.
