Hello my Name is Alexandra. I am dealing with an Extreme family emergency and have no one or nowhere to turn for help. I am a disabled older woman, I live in Vermont and my only surviving son is now in critical condition in the intensive care unit in South Carolina. He is suffering with pneumonia and acute kidney failure. He is critical condition and it’s been a week without improvement.

I have already buried 2 of my 3 sons in the last 11 years. I am desperate to get to his bedside to support him. He needs me. I also have to get to my 2 young grandchildren who he has custody of during the work week. They need me. His apartment needs to be secured and his landlord and work notified. He is critical and without plan for anything but keeping him alive. His father passed recently and there are no relatives on either side. My car is ancient and barely makes local errands possible. I am desperate. My son needs me. I can feel this in my soul. Please help me. Please find it in your heart to help me rent and gas a vehicle to get to him. I live on a fixed income from Social Security. I am truly begging for help and anything helps. I am also asking for prayers of strength and healing for Nicholas.
