On Sunday, October 26th, my cousin Gill and I will be running the Dublin City Marathon. I use “running” very loosely. There’ll be running, walking, limping, and, if needed, crawling involved to get us over that finish line.
While we’ve chosen to put ourselves through this, many women don’t get to choose the challenges life throws at them. For too many, life can be unsafe, unpredictable, and incredibly hard.
That’s why I’m raising funds for Women’s Aid, a charity that supports women and children affected by domestic abuse. Their work provides safety, hope, and the chance to rebuild — something every woman deserves.
So, if you can spare a few euro, please donate. Your support will help women facing some of the toughest marathons of all — the ones they never signed up for.
Thank you so much for your generosity. Every step (and blister) will be worth it!
