My beautiful daughter

Hello,

I am the loving mother of my beautiful young 25 year old daughter Paige who has been given a diagnosis of Ovarian cancer on the 11th September 2024.

She always has been so fit and healthy and a fitness competitor winning many medals for all her hard work.

she is the nicest most selfless person I know who will do anything for anyone she can.

unfortunately she has been terribly let down by the medical field for over a year with symptoms of bloating,feeling full when hardly eating,bowel changes and pain in the abdomen.

She knew something was wrong but as she is so young and fit the doctors brushed it off as endometriosis and or pcos or a cyst and were not bothered but refered her to a gynaecologist anyway.

it took 4 months to get in on the public system to see him and AGAIN was brushed off with only an internal done but no extra testing in May 2024 as a specialist should have!

he scheduled her in for a laparoscopy for September 2024 still didn’t really want to as he wasn’t bothered but sadly found cancer and said sorry but you have Ovarian Cancer and refered her to a woman’s hospital to take over and literally just put his head down until we left the office in complete shock and horror at the same time.

We then went 2 weeks later to the oncologist and was told it is stage 2 (possible later stage) low grade serous carcinoma 80% reoccurrence )and she needs a radical hysterectomy and stomach lining,appendix and possible part bowel removed and may need a stoma for some time if not permanent.

we are completely beside ourselves with worry as it is the “silent killer of woman at any age”.

Then we were told she cannot have the life saving surgery for 7 weeks under the public system which again put us in a panic of why why would they leave it so long!

her surgery is for the 11th November and in the meantime we have exhausted all our financial avenues on hyperbaric oxygen chamber and organic foods and supplements to try to ward off anymore growth in this long horrendous wait we have had! (She will need 3 times a week IV treatments of great expense)

Paige will be unable to work for the initial future and as I am on a carer payment for her Autistic brother funds to give her every other alternate treatments are going to be extremely difficult.

we would also love to get her to another county for specialists treatment if we can as proven there can be better treatment to fight this horrid cancer and have her live a full life ❤️

it’s with such a heavy heart for me as her mother to do this go fund me but I would give everything for this to be me and not her!

anything will help us get Paige to optimum health and or to an alternate country to allow her to have the life she deserves as the most beautiful girl she is.

i also want everyone to please PLEASE do not allow doctors to brush off any of these symptoms if you or a loved one ESPECIALLY YOUR DAUGHTERS have!

please share for us and help my beautiful caring and loving daughter have the best chance possible to live a life she should have been able to and get this horrid nasty cancer out of her beautiful body..

Hello everyone,just a little update on my beautiful daughter Paige,she had her surgery which removed her overies,appendix,part bowel,stomach lining,uterus and fallopian tubes.

so they managed to save 3 eggs (was hoping for more) which have a 25% chance .

since recovering 8 weeks from surgery she had her 1st chemo on the 16th January 2025.

it has not gone smoothly and she is in hospital with terrible bone pain and extreme sickness which is so sad

she isn’t sure she can endure this for the next 6 months but she is trying so hard to stay strong!

we just want to thank everyone for the support and donations which will and are helping her through this terrible time to get all we can health wise including a wig or wigs of human hair so she can feel semi normal and her naturopath to help her keep her normal cells as healthy as possible and we have also been able to provide juicer and the likes for all her foods and smoothies and organic foods and hybanaric oxygen chambers and after the 6 months of chemo she can start the vit C drips and so on to get her body back.

This is very hard on her and us and the multiple hospital times with petrol and parking fees so we just want to thank you all and all

of your friends and family for helping us in this time of great need.

I am not asking anyone to share this or donate anything more as we are EXTREMELY grateful.
