My name is Hani Al-Shawamreh, and I’m from Gaza. I have a family of 10 members—my wife, our six daughters, two sons, and myself. I am the sole provider for them, with no source of income or support, especially during these extremely difficult times.

For the past two years, we have been living under relentless war, destruction, famine, and unbearable economic hardship. The prices of basic necessities have skyrocketed, and it now takes at least $100 a day just to cover food and water for my family. With no jobs, no aid, and no security, every day has become a struggle to survive.

On top of that, three of my children are currently studying at university, and I am doing my best to pay their tuition so they can have a chance at a better future.
