This is Oliver, he is a very special little boy with wonderful loving parents and a big sister who thinks the world of him. Oliver has Microcephaly, delayed myelination, truncal hypotonia, developmental delays, cortical vision impairment, dysphagia with aspiration, obstructive sleep apnea, right sided weakness and he is nonverbal. He can make sounds but at 2 1/2 he can't put words together, and he cannot walk. He does sit up by himself for a little while. Oliver has been going to Speech, Occupational, and water therapy for over a year now. He will see a Physical Therapist as soon as a Pediatric one is available. Oliver has made tremendous progress, thanks to the therapies and his family. Both Oliver's parents work full time (mom has been home during the Covid outbreak). Both Mom and Dad carry insurance on Oliver. He sees multiple specialist and has regular special testing done. As most of you know medical care is very expensive, Oliver's parents have been paying all of it so far, they get assistance for things done at Mary Bridge only. Oliver is in great need of many devices such as a special speech device that  he can communicate with visually, a special walker and a standing board to make his trunk muscles stronger. Insurances  will not pay for any medical devices Oliver needs not even a portion of it. Mom has tried very hard and hasnt gotten anywhere with the insurance companies. All of these things are well over $20,000.00. Without them Oliver's progress will be greatly held up. I know in our world right now things are very different, but please support this little guy if you can. His parents need help funding these things for him, I asked mom a long time ago if we could do a go fund me page and she always told me no, other people needed help more than them. After both insurances denied all of this equipment she finally tearfully told me ok.  Please help.
