Mile Style is running The Speed Project 2025!

The 2025 miles are in full effect & the Militia is excited to announce that Mile Style has been selected to run THE SPEED PROJECT 2025!

For anyone unfamiliar with The Speed Project, this is world renowned relay race covering a distance of over 300 miles, starting at the Santa Monica Pier in LA, traveling though Death Valley, and ending at the Welcome To Las Vegas sign in Nevada.

Mile Style is a Bronx-based run group working to help improve the overall health and well-being of Bronx residents borough-wide through the sport of running. Over the course of the past 7 years, we've helped countless people lace up and fall in love with this amazing sport, but The Speed Project will be a challenge like no other we've ever had! We are taking flight from the BX & lacing up to run a 340 mile relay race through the streets, mountains and desert of California.

Come March 2025, these Bronx based 1st timers will be loud & proud, experiencing a level of freedom like no other. The 10 person relay team is a reflection of inclusivity; as it’s diverse in personality, age, gender, size, race & pace.

We are committed to pushing beyond our limits during the legendary TSP unsanctioned race. As a team & as individuals we will dig deep to push through Death Valley & emerge with a renewed spirit to cross the finish line! We will look to the starlit nights & rising sun to run, run, run to make the Bronx proud.

BUT WE CAN'T DO THIS ALONE! This task is also a large financial challenge for the team, and so we are asking the community to be part of this epic journey. Your donations will help make this Concrete to Palm Tree to Desert Sands dream a reality for the team & support crew. All donation’s will play a significant role in covering costs associated with travel, accommodations, RV/Vehicle Rentals, gas, food, hydration & runners safety supplies!
