I am Faiq Al-Qirman from Beit Hanoun_Gaza Strip_Palestine, a fourth year student at the Faculty of Dentistry_Al-Azhar University in Gaza.

My family and I have been displaced for more than 265 days, since the events of October 7th, and we are facing difficulties in life. Starting from the day we were forcibly evacuated from our home to go to our relatives in Jabalia, and then the occupation asked us to go to the south of Wadi Gaza after a week of staying in Jabalia. We then went to the south of the valley to one of my father's friends at work who lives in the Nusairat camp. After about 20 days, the occupation targeted residential apartments in the adjacent tower, leading to the death of my 8-year-old brother Ahmed and the injury of my cousin with a leg fracture, and the rest with minor injuries while they were playing and having fun under the tower.

We decided to move for the third time to Deir Al-Balah to stay with my uncles who reside in a school for displaced people. Then, my grandmother passed away the next day after my brother's death, mourning him as he was the youngest of her grandchildren. Life became even harder, with water shortages, lack of food and drink, difficulty in moving around, and sleeping to the sound of shelling. Then came the news of the destruction of Al-Azhar University, the place where I was building my future and aspirations in life. Will the war ever end? Will I be able to continue my studies at the university or abroad?

I am one of 6 remaining children to my father. We used to own a house, two shoe stores, and a large piece of land planted with olive trees, but all of this was destroyed and gone. We will return and rebuild what was destroyed, but I will not be able to continue my studies inside the country until a very long time passes, and the war has not ended yet.

Please help me so that I can complete my studies abroad and regain my future and continue building it in order to live a dignified and independent life.
