TS Frobisher II volunteers take on Born Survivor Challenge
Rochdale Sea Cadets, TS Frobisher II is an individual charity, part of the Sea Cadet Corps. We rely on the goodwill of our local community, friends and families to allow us to keep our doors open in order tp provide the young people of Rochdale with life changing experiences in line with the traditions of the Royal Navy.
5 of our adult volunteers have decided to take on an extreme physical challenge, which will require lots of training, in order to raise vital funds for our unit. The team of 5 consists of our Officer in Charge PO (SCC) Tisdall along with our Detachment Commander Lt Molyneux (RN) and 3 of the Sergeants in our Royal Marine Cadet Detachment; Sgt (SCC) Morrison, Sgt (SCC) Horsfield and Sgt (SCC) Powell.
The big day is Saturday the 13th of September where the Born Survivor Lancashire 2025 event will take place through the Ribble Valley where we will tackle over 30 military style obstacles over 10km through mud, water and fire.
We would really appreciate your support in helping us raise money for our beloved unit, in order to allow us to keep providing the opportunities we are for the young people of Rochdale.
Please come and join us on the day, we can't promise it will be pretty but it will certainly provide you with some entertainment.
We look forward to seeing you there!
