Trying to stay Paws-ative!!!
fundraising is a vital aspect of running a no-kill dog rescue, That also means we have to strive towards our mission to advocate for the dogs and their needs. occasionally we must ask our community for help. it is only with Community Support a place like the Canine Collective is able to exist.
Wags- (senior Yorkie 13 yrs)- her previous owner was deemed terminally ill and was not able to keep up with her medical costs. one of our dedicated volunteers is fostering her! we recently got her groomed and took her to our vet only to find out her teeth are in bad disrepair and are desperately in need of surgery ASAP the quote for this surgery is about $2,000.
Caroline- ( white and black Setter mix 2 yrs) came to us from a high-kill shelter we help in Southern Ohio to prevent them from having to euthanize dogs. Shortly after arriving to The Canine Collective we noticed Caroline was not putting weight on her back leg, we immediately got her to the vet and into a foster home. We found out it is most likely an old injury that is beyond repair, the suggested treatment plan is amputation the quote for this surgery is $3,800. both of these dogs need their surgery as quick as possible however Canine Collective really needs to raise the funds before we can schedule it. please help if you can, NO amount is too small! among these two major surgeries we are also keeping up with our daily vet cost of spay/ neuter, vaccines, microchips, and heartworm test. if you're not able to donate please share our campaign to help us reach as far as we can. thank you for your continued support always!❤️❤️❤️
