Trying to replace a stolen bike

My son had his BMX bike stolen. We got a great deal last year before Christmas. It was his only gift. We can't afford to replace it. Totally unfair that some guy (they got him on video) decides that he wants to steal what we spent our hard earned money on. To add insult to injury, he wasn't using the bike, his 14 year old little brother was, and locked it. Completely broke my heart to see my son hug his little brother and tell him it was alright and not his fault. Please help!
