Hi friends,
I never thought I’d be writing something like this, but here we are.
My work is dedicated to our CHamoru culture and GUMA’s. My heart is dedicated to the countless stories, traditions, and identities that shape our culture. Through the lens of my camera, I strive to honor the beauty, resilience, and spirit of our people — to preserve not just moments, but meaning. May each image serve as a testament to our shared history and a bridge for future generations to see, feel, and remember who we are.
Recently, I was selling one of my prized treasured cameras on EBay. Unfortunately, the buyer turned out to be a scammer. I lost my camera and never received the money . I have used that camera to capture photos, content creation and a side business. Despite reporting it, there’s little chance of getting the money back.
This has been incredibly discouraging. That camera sale represented months of savings and was supposed to help me move forward with my creative work. Instead, I’m now left without the camera and without the funds.
i starting this fundraiser to try and recover what I lost. If you’re able to help in any way—donating or even just sharing—it would mean everything to me.
Thank you for reading, supporting, and believing in me.
