Trust Fund for Aliyah's Nugget (Bo-Bo)

Aliyah Denise Henderson was a true light to us all. Her laughter, her glow, her sassy personality gave us a reason to smile…and sometimes shake our head. She was a free spirit that lived as her true authentic self. She worked hard to overcome any adversities and persevered with the love and nurturing of her village.

That was her purpose …for us all to learn how to live and love life regardless of what may be going on. Unfortunately, her wings were clipped and her life taken way too soon. We know not the day, the time, nor the hour that our presence here on Earth ends, but we must always remember that “dash” between our sunrise and sunset.

Aliyah’s “dash” not only left us with so much joy in our hearts, but also a great gift. Her one-year old son, Khalil, was her pride and joy. He gave her purpose to explore her artistic talents as she matured into adulthood (her why).

As we mourn this tragic loss, many have asked how can they help. The family feels that Khalil would best benefit from the out pouring of love and support. This little blessing will never get to grow up with his mom, but we want to fulfill all of Aliyah's desires for him and give him the best opportunities to thrive and achieve greatness.
