This coming holiday season, our family—my wife Abigail, our three kids (Winrie, Alphaeus, and Monty), and I—will be traveling with True North Helping Hands (https://www.truenorthhh.org) to the Baja in Mexico. Together with their team, we’ll be helping build a school for children, connecting with local churches, and serving the community through outreach.

This trip is especially meaningful to us because it’s not just about construction—it’s about sharing love, hope, and the good news of Jesus. I (Brett) have been blessed to take part in this mission twice before, and each time it has been life-changing. Now, as parents, we feel called to bring our kids along so they can see firsthand what it means to serve others and witness how the Christian church is alive and active all around the world. We want them to know that the Holy Spirit is at work in every corner of the earth.

We are working to raise $6,000 to make this mission possible. These funds will cover flights to and from San Diego, along with food and lodging for our family during the 10 days we’ll be there. Every contribution, no matter the size, will help us not only reach Mexico but also make a lasting impact on the lives of the children and families we’ll meet there.
