DARLING DARLING – A storytelling exhibition humanising the experiences of sex workers and their clients.
We are the Unshuttered Collective and a team of sex worker collaborators bringing Darling Darling to life — a peer-led, interactive exhibition that shares the voices, stories, and lived experiences of sex workers across Australia.
Sex work is an integral thread in our communities, yet stigma and silence often erase the humanity of workers and their clients. Darling Darling creates space to listen, to see, and to understand. Through writing, photography, sculpture, and immersive installation, we are telling stories that are too often unheard — stories of dignity, strength, intimacy, and care.
Your support will help us:
- Run creative workshops with sex workers to gather and shape their stories.
- Fund professional photography, fabrication, and exhibition design.
- Share these works in an interactive, touring exhibition that can be experienced nationwide.
