I was 17 when I was taken. My family was on a trip in Washington State. Three men I'd never met took me outside a restaurant, put me in handcuffs, and drove me eighteen hours to a ranch program in Thompson Falls, Montana called Turning D Ranch, later Wood Creek Academy.

I was assaulted shortly after I got there. My head was shaved. There was work, the program advertised it: barn building, fencing, firewood, hay. When I tried to leave, my shoes were taken and replaced with flip-flops. I escaped and was reported as a missing child.

Montana inspectors later documented staff describing clothing confiscation as a way to stop boys running, boys made to sleep outdoors in winter, and punishment running of over 200 laps in a week. The program closed permanently in 2021 after years of complaints.

I'm 25 now. I'm rebuilding, I have documents, and I'm looking for a lawyer. Right now I need somewhere to live while I do it.

Money will be used for rent until I have a stable housing situation. Then I will close the campaign. anything helps, thanks.
