Hi my name is Dr. Asalet Yener. I am a UK based Doctor and my hometown is Turkey. Everyone has heard about the devastating news…. Thousands of lives lost and thousands of those injured. We cannot bring back the lives lost but we can help those who are injured physically and mentally to rebuild what they have lost.

I felt hopeless and have to do something. I’m sure there are so many people who feel the same . Let’s raise funds together and I will ensure it’s distributed to those who need it via personally hand delivered (I will be travelling there as soon as it’s safe to travel) and partially to charities within Turkey who are distributing large scale aid. Cities personally delivering aid will be those we are able to reach- Gaziantep and Nurdagi to family’s who need help for essential daily living supplies: blankets, food, clothes etc. The remainder (depending on the amount raised) will be given to Hayrat Vakfi (a charity I have personally donated to in the past that I know are ethical and humanitarian). I hope this helps reassure you.
