Trip to Remar Orphanage
Donation protected
I will be returning to El Salvador to visit the wonderful children at Remar orphanage, which does not receive any government funding and relies on donations. Last time, on my short visit to three orphanges in the country, we bought them all knapsacks for school, fresh new towels, toothbrushes and toothpaste, bought and made them hot lunches, and much more. There are 94 kids at this particular orphanage, including four babies and many teenagers (30 new arrivals). This time I will be there a week. UPDATE: a full list of the needs at Remar is at the bottom of this page from food and school supplies to salary assistance for the teacher and psychologist, which is $400 each per month (bigger needs inc. ventilation in the kitchen). We will also be visiting an old age home and donating any items that we are told by our guide are needed there. Please help me raise money to make this trip a reality and ensure we can provide items that are practical, educational, and also some fun stuff. Just as an example, one meal for all those kids costs about $150-200. Any questions, please message me. Below is a list of the items Remar's director says they need.
