Triplets lose father unexpectedly

Please help Alyssa & Triplets as they mourn the loss of Dawson Baker.

As many of you are already aware, Dawson Kane Baker passed away unexpectedly on June 6, 2022, leaving behind his children and all those whose lives he touched. Dawson and Alyssa Baldwin have 18-month-old triplets (Aubrey, Kolson, and Karson). Many people have reached out asking if there is a fund dedicated to Alyssa and the triplets, so we created this one. There was another GoFundMe, which has met its goal, set up for the Baker family for funeral and travel expenses.

Their Story:

Dawson and Alyssa found out they were having triplets in August of 2021, and their lives quickly changed! From numerous and frequent appointments to preparing for the arrival of their three babies, life got pretty hectic. They had to live in a hotel 3 hours away from their home, family, and friends for several months (before and after the babies were born) to be close to the hospital with the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). After months of preterm and tons of visits to the hospital, the triplets were born 2 months early and stayed another 6 weeks in the NICU before they could come home.

Alyssa is a fantastic mama and has stayed home full time to care for the children. The triplets are now 18 months old and doing great! However, because they were born prematurely, they have some developmental delays that require regular Physical Therapy (PT), Occupational Therapy (OT), Speech appointments, and constant work at home to help them improve. As you can imagine, caring for 3 children is a crazy amount of work and keeps Alyssa very busy, especially with their additional needs.

Dawson’s passing has hit everyone extremely hard, we are all devastated, and the families are really struggling at this time. Death brings an enormous amount of emotional pain and stress in addition to financial burdens. We hope this fund will ease some of the financial burdens Alyssa will face.
