On December 2020, Trini Yanez was hospitalized with COVID, resulting to other health complications that included pneumonia and a stroke. For more than a month, Trini fought for his life in the ICU with no family contact. Due to the magnitude of the effects of COVID, Trini is working on regaining his sight and memory. The road to recovery will take time as Trini fights to regain his strength and his ability to work again. Despite the illness stripping off his ability to work and to provide for his family, Trini continues to recover with the same joy and optimism that we know him to exude.

His wife tells us that Trini is working hard to get better and make a come-back so that he can remember and see all of us again. He is a resilient man with the biggest, most generous, and kindest heart.

Trini represents the best of us. He loves his family and friends and always came to work with his best attitude. He loved people and always served with integrity and joy- even with the difficult people. Trini’s smile and positive attitude were infectious, and those who know him are fully aware that they are truly blessed to have a wonderful person in their lives, ours included.

As a community and as a family, we are doing a gofundme to help raise funding to pour out our support and love to Trini as he takes this time to recover. If you are able, your generosity would help cover medical and household expenses for the Yanez family. It would help Trini focus on his recovery and relieve some of the financial burdens, so he can turn his full attention to healing.  All money raised will be given to Trini and his wife.
