Tricia Hennessy and son Ronnie Óg will be taking part ina working trip on the 18th of January 2026, and to ask for your support for a project that HG Construction is proud to stand behind. They will be travelling to Ethiopia with Building for Children, a Galway-based volunteer charity that has spent nearly 20 years improving conditions for vulnerable children in orphanages and residential schools. Tricia and Ronnie Óg will be representing HG Construction, fully self-funding their travel so that every euro donated goes directly to the children and the renovation works. Building for Children has carried out major improvement works at the Sebeta Blind and Visually Impaired School, home to over 300 children. Their work has included the construction of a new girls’ dormitory, complete renovation of several existing dorms, installation of new beds and sanitary facilities, and on their most recent trip the completion of a new well and water storage system, which now provides the school with a reliable water supply.
