Trey's Journey: Healing After the Crash
Donation protected

Hi! I’m Lonnie Bolar. I am trying to help my youngest son, Michael “Trey” Bolar. I live in South Florida. He lives in Blue Ridge, GA. On April 19th, 2025 (Easter Eve), he was in an automobile accident returning home from work. He was airlifted to Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga, TN. If not for the grace of Christ, he would NOT have “escaped” with the injuries he did sustain. He broke the ulna in his left arm and the acetabulum in the right hip. The surgeons operated on Trey the night he arrived. He sustained other minor injuries as well. His 2009 Subaru Forester was totaled. He DOES have auto insurance. He DOES NOT have health insurance.
He is very concerned with not being able to pay his hospital bills, rent, and find another vehicle until he is able to return to work (if his position is held). Trey lives in a very rural area. I, his mom, am not physically able to get to him to help. I am on disability. I have serious mobility issues. If you are able to reach out to Trey and help him get back on his feet, I have no doubt he would be incredibly grateful; as would I.
He would never ask for himself. He will need to return to Chattanooga for his follow-up appointment to get all of his stitches out and find out when he can return to work. His broken hip will be the injury which slows down his recovery. Currently he is using a walker. He needs to navigate several sets of stairs. Please PRAY for what, you might be able to do for Trey, and for his speedy recovery! I realize this is a difficult time for all.
THANK YOU for taking the time to read my/his story,
Lonnie Bolar
