Trevor's road to recovery!

On April 17th 2019, Trevor was involved in a tragic drowning accident on our property. He spent 3 weeks in the PICU where he was diagnosed with Anoxic Brain Injury. He spent a week in general peds. It was very intense and very heartbreaking watching him go through what he had to go through.
Everyday was a struggle for him. Between many many pokes, meds, painful muscles..
He spent 3 months in a rehab facility. The first month was absolutely horrible. Between neuro storms and constant vomiting. Once they figured out how to get him to be comfortable and stable, he was able to get amazing therapy from the therapy team at Pathways.
August 1st, he finally came home. It was very rough at first but it's been absolutely amazing watching him strive. Every day is a new day of new beginnings.
He's on his second set of HBOT (hyperbaric Oxygen therapy). It has helped SO much. He improves after every session we do.
Someone from Stram Center is selling a soft chamber and Trevor was the first person they thought of selling it too.
It's for $3,000. Which is why I thought of setting up a GoFundMe to maybe help out with buying it! He would benefit from it so much and would be able to do it twice a day instead of once.
We also want to do many other therapies with him. Acupuncture, cold laser therapy, MNRI and many other things.
Everyone has been absolutely so thoughtful and have been so amazing to our family. We had a good turn out on this before and also with the benefit which we are hoping to be able to have another one in the future!
