♀️ Celebrating 25 Years with a Boat for the Future
This summer marks 25 years of Trelawney Rowing Club, and we’re proud to be part of a joint celebration with South West Lakes at Stithians Lake, where we’re based.
To mark this special occasion, our junior members are taking on a Sponsored Row on 20th August, rowing 25 miles on the lake as part of the #ItsYour25 challenge — raising funds for a boat named Pearl.
Our juniors have pledged to row 25 miles on Stithians Lake as their contribution to the challenge. This is a proud moment of collaboration between Trelawney Rowing Club and South West Lakes — two organisations celebrating community, nature, and adventure.
Why We’re Rowing
As our club continues to grow — especially our junior section — we urgently need a new boat to support training and competition. Our current fleet is well-loved but limited, and Pearl will:
• Provide a safe boat for junior and senior crews
• Help us train effectively and race competitively
• Support the future of rowing in the Cornwall Rowing Association
• Be a lasting symbol of our 25th anniversary year
Our fundraising goal is £1,500, and with your support, we believe we can reach it!

Powered by Our Juniors
This entire effort is being driven by our amazing junior rowers — the youngest and most enthusiastic members of Trelawney Rowing Club. They’re training hard and will take on the full 25-mile challenge on 20th August with energy, pride, and team spirit.
Together, let’s launch Pearl and keep the spirit of Trelawney Rowing Club and Stithians Lake alive for the next 25 years — and beyond.
Thank you for supporting our juniors, our lake, and our legacy
