Trek to Mount Everest Base Camp for Craig Eskrett & Family

During an impulsive moment in December, I decided to book a 15 day trek to Mount Everest Base Camp, Nepal in October 2025.

After some thought, I decided to make use of the personal challenge ahead of me and raise some money for a good cause. I have decided to raise money for Craig Eskrett, his wife Ileshia and their two boys.

Craig, a local rugby league youth coach with Skirlaugh Under 8's was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease in 2023. Craig has been valiantly 'banging the drum' to raise awareness in the search for a cure for MND. His positivity and courage is truly inspiring.

The money raised from this page will go directly to Craig and his family, with thanks to L6ve Life Foundation. The L6ve Life Foundation was set up by the late Lee Newton. A local Hull man who dedicated his life to family, friend and sport. The charity was set up to provide funds for those who, every day, fight to find a cure and to help those already living with MND.
