Trek 4 tech Rwanda

Students and staff from Cardiff Met University will be looking to take on this challenge to raise funds to buy much needed technology (ipads and laptops) for our Rwandan link primary school.

The challenge will begin in the at the top of the infamous Taff trail in Merthyr Tydfil and the team will walk just over a marathon (26 miles) back to Llandaf campus on the 18th March 2024. This is the first 'fitness' challenge for many of the students taking part in the fundraiser and they are hoping a bit of their pain can be exchanged for your kind donations.

We have been raising funds for our Rwandan link school for several years which have helped to bring Wi-Fi to the school and the local community, built a kitchen for pupils at the school, helped to buy classroom furniture and provided sports kit for pupils. Last year students from the Primary Education Studies course had amazing opportunity to visit and teach in the school. Any donations are gratefully received, this money will help to make a huge educational impact within the children of this school.

ECPS school Rwanda is based in the Rusizi district in the south of the country.
