Trees For The Kilimanjaro Project
Tax deductible
The past two weeks I have had the opportunity to visit my dear friend Sarah Scott and her Kilimanjaro tree growing project. With a team of lovely and dedicated people, she works hard on regreening the slopes of the Kilimanjaro. I have seen with my own eyes the impact the project has on the surroundings, and the people.
Let's try and make a contribution to this cause together! I will send the beautiful khanga (traditional Tanzanian cloth) to the first 5 donations of $50,- or more...
If you are a frequent flyer this is a great way to feel less guilty about your carbon footprint!
Please help me reach (or exceed) my target!
Please donate and then share this on your own timeline.
I've included a little background on the project below.

BACKGROUND OF THE KILIMANJARO PROJECT
The Kilimanjaro Project is an environmental and social impact initiative with the vision to plant millions of trees on the slopes of Kilimanjaro and join the global tree growing movement.

Let us light a candle on the top of Mt Kilimanjaro, that will shine a light BEYOND our borders, to give hope where there is despair, love where there is hate, and dignity where before there was only humiliation.”
Mwalimu Nyerere, Founding President Tanganyika 1961
Our goal is to create a positive climate rumble from the foothills of Kilimanjaro that will be felt across the world. We believe in creativity, communications and action! And one of our guiding values is a KiSwahili saying, “tuje Pamoja!” let us come together!
The only way we can take care of the planet for future generations is if we do it together!
