Trees for Life – The aftermath of 7th of October 2023

“Never Forget and Celebrate life”

The Go Fund initiative seeks to raise funds to cover the cost of growing and raising trees, which will then be given away to people, communities, and religious institutions who were directly affected by the 7th of October 2023 attack. A certificate of appreciation will be sent to every person who donates to this fund. The below funds are needed to bring about the concepts of re- growing, blossoming, and branching out in the land of Israel, where generations of life were taken.

The conception of the fund-raiser came about when I thought “what can I do for myself, and others” who went through and continue to go through such pain, suffering, and torment from the attack equated to a Holocaust. I decided to focus my energies on goodness, beauty, strength, and a love for life.

In an effort to rise from the ashes, I chose to grow Plumeria trees. The Plumeria tree grows fast, has strong roots, branches, and beautiful flowers with a perfume-like smell. The trees would represent a nation that will continue to grow, continue to blossom, and continue to send its roots in a strong and fortified manner. The Plumeria trees perpetuates a sense of “Never Forget, and Celebrate Life.”

This infamous day “The 7th of October 2023” will forever be embedded within the minds and souls of Jews, Christians, and other religions of faith throughout the world. A day of horrific proportions, a day of despair and death, which tremored like an earthquake in all walks of life. I was a victim of that dark and terrible day, in which I survived. I put my trust in G-d, said what I believed to be my last prayers, and waited for the angel of death to take me. G-d sent the angels but not to take my life, rather angels of protection who saved me and the others.

Donations will be allocated in the below listed categories. If a donor wishes to donate to a specific category, that will always be possible. All donations are completely transparent, kept track of, and at any time, a full accounting of the funds may be requested by any donor. Documentation of the recipients of the trees will also be fully documented as well.

The Goal for the fundraiser is $150,000 for the first year, including the costs spent for the past 2 years.

*This fundraiser was conceptualized by Yehuda Packer, who was brought up in the United States of America and lives in California and Ashkelon Israel. All the Plumeria trees grown will be given to random people and organizations affected by the terrorist attack of 7th of October 2023 and not to any type of "war effort." The trees will be delivered by me and or a helper.
