Over the last three years, our Community Interest Company has planted thousands of locally sourced, native trees through dozens of community tree planting days all over the North East, with community groups, refugees, homeless folk and many others.
We would like to continue this work over the 2019/20 winter planting season, and we need your support to do this.
The trees, stakes, tree-guards all cost money, as does the time it takes to plan and facilitate the planting days.
The North East of England is one of the most impoverished regions in the country when it comes to native woodland cover. If you want to help us make a contribution toward changing this, for wildlife and for people, then please giving whatever you can. The more money you donate, the more tree planting days we will be able to run this season.
One tree costs about £5 to plant. How many will you help us get in the ground?
Our directors (Andy Gray, Ben Holden, Julian Briggs and Mark Shipperlee) all share a passion for woodland and a desire to make a positive contribution toward our woodland in the North East of England.
