Hi, I’m Dan, Board Certified Master Arborist and founder of Tree and Line. I have travelled the nation training companies, utility providers, and municipalities how to manage tree diseases and pests, and how to prevent wildfires. I've even helped on several California wildfires and utility rebuild projects.

The picture on this campaign could be your street in Anywhere, USA if trees aren't managed well and people aren't trained right. We’re on a mission to protect communities, prevent wildfires, and help trees reach their full potential with a simple approach through training that will help ensure sticks don't touch wires and trees don't start fires.

We’re raising $40,000 to pay the learning management software team to launch our trainings before August 21st, so we can debut it at the Trees and Utilities Conference where I am speaking in a few weeks in September. This software will allow us to deliver our training for inspectors, contractors, applicators, utilities, nurseries, and municipalities, and provide clear, actionable information to prevent fires and keep the lights on.

Timing is critical. Every donation gets us closer to our goal and closer to making a big impact at the conference which will help us train the utilities and tree people to prevent fires in communities just like yours. Donations above the $40,000 goal will go to operating costs, more trainings, and we might even be able to afford to make trainings free for a few small municipal utilities or co-ops.
