My name is Tariq Maaroof. I am originally from Afghanistan and currently live in the Bay Area. I have been traveling to Afghanistan for many years to support communities in need through humanitarian and philanthropic work. Recently, devastating earthquakes struck Kunar, leaving families without homes, food, and basic necessities.

The people of Kunar are resilient, but the destruction is overwhelming. Entire villages have been reduced to rubble, and many families are left with nothing. Every contribution — no matter the size — will go directly toward providing emergency relief, shelter, food, and medical assistance to those most affected.
