My name is Hussam Adwan. I am a Palestinian with British citizenship and most of my extended family live in Gaza. I am organising this fundraiser on behalf of my cousin Fatma and her husband and two children who are trying to cross the border to safety in Egypt. "My name is Fatma Hamed Adwan. I live in Gaza where we are suffering a situation of total war. I have faced the unimaginable losses of my mother, sister, and three brothers.

I am in severe psychological shock and suffering from a chronic condition after this disaster has befallen me. There is nothing left for us here as our house been destroyed.

Please help me, my husband Muhammad Ali and our two young children aged 5 and 8 flee this hellish situation and join my remaining brothers in Egypt.

We have tried to cross the border at Rafah, but the Egyptian authorities require Palestinians to pay $5,000 dollars per person to enter Egypt.

As my family has 4 members, the cost of leaving Gaza during the war is $20,000.

Please help me if you can".
