Anyone who knows me, or knows of me, is aware of my dedication to representing immigrants.  Right now, there are a number of organizations seeking pro bono attorney volunteers for detained immigrants, and I want to provide my assistance.  I have the time, but I don't have the funds (unfortunately, my boss had no choice but to close her office and lay me off).   It looks like travel costs (airfare and lodging) will be around $1,500.  Any money I have left over will be donated to an immigrant rights non-profit.
