Help Tra relocate to care for his Mom!!!

Hey Everyone, my name is Duncan – Trá’s friend and roommate here in Austin, TX. I started this GoFundMe to help Trá cover expenses to relocate to California to care for his mom.

Tra’s mom is one tough cookie – just like him! They share an endlessly positive attitude, they are selfless, and they have always put the people they care about before themselves.

Unfortunately, Trá’s mom is fighting very serious health issues and personal battles. She has rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, fibromyalgia, and early-onset dementia. And very recently, she has begun to struggle with intermittent homelessness and is currently living out of her car in Long Beach, CA. She has a full-time job, but various barriers have prevented her from being able to secure stable housing and healthcare.

When Trá found out the extent and severity of what she was going through over the past couple of weeks, he decided to drop everything, quit his jobs, and immediately relocate to California to support and care for his mom.

Anyone who knows Trá knows that this is completely in line with his character. He always gives 110% of himself to the people important in his life, his friends, his family, and his many, many jobs.

Whether it's VGL sports, youth cheer, his students at IDEA, or his riders at Cyclebar – Trá always shows up and shows out to make things fun, meaningful, and rewarding for the people who count on him. Above and beyond is an understatement.

This is our chance to give back and show Trá just how much he means to us – and how thankful we all are for everything he has sacrificed to fill our lives with meaning and with love.

The money raised by this GoFundMe will be used for the following:

• Provide Trá’s mom with temporary housing until he can make it to CA in February.

• Fix up his car to make sure he has reliable transportation to CA and for him and his mom once he gets there.

• Cover moving and relocation expenses to get to CA.

• Help him secure appropriate housing for him and his mom in CA.

• Cover medical bills, deductibles, copays, and other expenses for his mom’s care.
