Transportation from the van Ommen family

Hi everyone!

We are a missionary family working with YWAM in the Redlight district of Amsterdam. We reach out to the sex workers, the Johns (man that visits the Redlight district), we feed the homeless, we run a prayer room and we offer training for young people in all these areas.

As volunteers in YWAM, we live by faith: our financial support comes from donations. We managed to live without a car for 2 years, but we have reached the point where we really would need a car again. I have four wonderful children (2 teens and 2 young adults) whose world is continuously expanding with the number of appointments, and commitments, more and farther from home. A bicycle just doesn’t cut it anymore

A car would make a huge difference in our lives. It would give us so much freedom, and convenience with my speaking engagements in the nation, connecting and visiting houses of prayer in Europe, but also visiting our relatives who live far away, and going on holiday trips once in a while. We would be so grateful if you could donate any amount to our fundraiser.

We need a reliable 7-seater and prices start at 8000 Euro (low end). We hope to raise 12.000 Euro.
