Thank you for taking the time to listen. I am an extremely passionate juvenile justice advocate, wearing multiple hats and multitasking daily. I’m constantly at the Texas State Capitol trying desperately to create a mechanism for a second chance for these children given extreme sentences. Additionally, I’m a volunteer surrogate parent for a 16 year child at the state school. I’m a wife, a mother of 3 adult children, 3 grandsons under the age of 4, dog mom to 7 Labrador Retrievers, not to mention multiple feral cats. At this time, I do not have a car. It’s incredibly frustrating being stuck with so many things to accomplish. This last legislative session, I was blessed with folks willing to pick me up for Capitol advocacy visits. I’m not a bum; I have a real estate license to supplement my social security, but my listings are sitting and I can’t grab a buyer because I don’t have a car!! I’ve obtained financing on a 2008 decent vehicle but am in need of the down payment and insurance. Can you help?
