Transportation for Danielle

Dear Friends and Family,

I'm starting this GoFundMe for my daughter, Kelsey, a single mom of 2 girls. As many of you know, her daughter, Danielle, has special needs including diabetes insipidus, a seizure disorder, blindness and is unable to walk due to hypotonia as well as other mobility issues.

Last year, a motor vehicle accident totalled their Dodge Town and County van. This van could easily fit Danielle's wheelchair, stroller specialized car seat as well as all the things mom's need to transport 2 growing girls.

Currently Kelsey is driving a Kia Forte, a much smaller vehicle and this has posed a problem for several reasons. You see Danielle has frequent doctors appointments and the lack of space leaves Kelsey having to disassemble Danielle's wheelchair and stroller and car seat and at times leaves Kelsey having to carry Danielle. This is only continuing to become more difficult as Danielle grows and her needs grow and change.

I'm hoping to help provide my daughter with the funds to help her daughters. Another van that is safe, comfortable and provides for ease of use would give Kelsey the opportunity to give her daughters the best chance of success- all any mother wishes to provide for their children. It's the reason I'm asking for your help today.

If Kelsey could afford a good down payment for a specialized mobility vehicle in order to get Danielle back and forth to her multiple appointments safely, it would make both of their lives that much easier. I've set a goal of thirty five thousand but any little bit helps. Please consider donating to Kelsey and especially for Danielle. She is an amazing little girl who has already been dealt her fair share of difficulty and anything that can make life a little easier for her gives her that much more of a chance for success!
