My brother and I always dreamed of opening a shared living home for veterans. After his untimely death in 2024, I felt compelled to continue our mission in his honor. Nearly 11% of the homeless population in the United States are veterans, and Hampton Roads, with its vast military community, faces this challenge every day. I want to provide safe, clean, stable, and affordable housing to help reduce veteran homelessness by offering transitional housing that fosters independence, community, and personal growth.

The funds raised will go directly toward rental assistance, furnishings, payroll for dedicated staff, and marketing to reach veterans in need. Shared housing environments for veterans significantly reduce isolation and improve reintegration into civilian life. Veterans often face barriers such as unemployment, untreated mental health conditions, and a lack of affordable housing options.
