OATECA is launching a transition center for adults with significant disabilities who have few options for daily engagement or employment. Many adults in Yukon, OK and the surrounding area face isolation and limited opportunities once they age out of school-based programs. Our new center at 740 E. Main Street, Suite 100, will provide a safe, supportive environment where these individuals can continue to grow and thrive.

Our team brings over 60 years of combined experience in education and disability services. We are deeply connected to the Yukon community and have seen firsthand the need for ongoing support. The center will offer life skills training, job skills development, socialization, and recreational activities tailored to each participant’s abilities and interests. Our goal is to help every adult reach their fullest potential and enjoy a meaningful, connected life.

We are seeking financial support to cover essential startup costs, including rent, staff salaries, equipment, and supplies. Every contribution will help us open our doors and begin making a difference for adults with significant disabilities in our community.
