Transforming Lives Today

Ive started up this project in the last month as it's very close to my heart ( Transforming Lives Today ) is a voluntary project based in Bristol that really has a heart for reaching out to the wider community as we see there is a real need for hair cutting services for shelters, refugee establishments and under privileged families and many many more. TLT’s passion and mission and vision is to reach out to the homeless and underprivileged sector of society and try to improve their sense of well being and mental health albeit a haircut indirectly at times can be enough to spark determination, motivation to want to make a change in their own lives. Vision: That equality and inclusion is at the heart of what we do Mission: That we support anyone and everyone in need. Values: Dignity and respect, working as a team, love and kindness being the drive to help the wider community. So i am reaching out to anyone that can help support myself and all the hairdressers and barbers that are coming on board to drive this wonderful service. We need to raise money to support all of our: *PPE such as gloves, aprons, sterilizing products.  *Cutting utensils, scissors, clippers, combs. *Infestation products ( nit lotions) , for anyone that may have an infestation in their hair we don't want to turn them away we want to treat them and then next time be able to cut their hair. *Electrical items such as hairdryers, extension cables. *Cleaning products, shampoos, conditioners, styling products. Whilst COVID-19 is still very much present we wont be starting this project until the government indicate it is safe to do so for the well being of ourselves and the clients. So this is an opportunity to raise money in advance of that happening so that we can be as well prepared to deliver an outstanding service to all that need our help. You'd be amazed what transpires when you cut people's hair and how they open up to you, so if there anyone else that may like to.get involved such as perhaps offering careers advice to anyone that wants to consider getting back into work or if anyone might like to make up pamper packs such as soap , toothpaste and brush, bar of choccy then these can be given out on each hair cutting session we do and a great way to really get the community involved.. plesae please get in touch vua here or our Facebook page @transforminglives2day As each event takes place i will post pictures and include you in the journey and together we can Transform Lives Today xx
