Hi everyone! My name is Aaryona Mcclamy. Im a 24 year old African-American business owner and I’m looking to start a community garden for Philadelphia residents.
My team and I plan to convert unused land into a fully functioning and innovative community garden. This garden will provide a sustainable source of healthy food for families in need, reducing food insecurity while promoting nutritional education and self reliance.
Every dollar raised will go towards:
- Preparing the site
- Purchasing gardening tools
- Establishing water systems & other necessary infrastructure
- Funding educational programs & community outreach events
Innovative Solutions:
- Vertical gardening
- Hydroponics
- Container Gardening
- Composting Stations
- Music Therapy
