The Iron Cactus Scholarship for Students Pursuing Yoga Training
Yoga has the power to change lives—physically, mentally, and financially. But for many young people in India, the opportunity to pursue schooling is out of reach due to financial barriers. The Iron Cactus Scholarship is here to change that by providing scholarships to deserving students, giving them the tools they need to become certified yoga teachers and build sustainable careers that can support themselves and their families.
How Your Donations Help
Your donation will directly fund Yoga Teacher Training scholarships for students who otherwise wouldn't have access to this life-changing education.
The scholarship covers:
Tuition for Yoga Teacher Training. This includes the cost of certified training programs that prepare students to teach yoga professionally.
Training Materials providing yoga mats, books, uniforms, and other essential learning tools.
Nutritional Support ensuring students are nourished with healthy meals while they study and practice yoga.
Career Support offering guidance and connections to help graduates secure teaching jobs and become financially independent.
The Impact of Your Donation
Empowerment:
By becoming certified yoga teachers, students gain the qualifications they need to secure a job, whether it's teaching classes locally or working in wellness centers, gyms, or retreats.
Family Support:
Many of our scholarship recipients come from families struggling with poverty. By securing a steady income through teaching yoga, they can support their families, lift themselves out of hardship, and provide better opportunities for siblings.
Community Transformation:
As these students begin to teach yoga, they also share the life-changing benefits of yoga with their own communities, promoting health, wellness, and mindfulness.

Why Your Support Matters
In many parts of India, children and young adults from low-income families struggle to access quality education or job opportunities. The Iron Cactus Scholarship provides these students with the chance to enroll in comprehensive Yoga Teacher Training Programs that will not only teach them the art and science of yoga but also give them the skills to become teachers who can support themselves and their families financially.
By contributing to this cause, you are helping young people break the cycle of poverty and build a career that promotes wellness and self-sufficiency.
