Hi there!

My name is Sophia Barone and this year, I have the absolute honor of joining the Rochester, NY, HUGS Foundation, Inc. team on their June 2025 mission to Guatemala. This mission is incredibly exciting but also incredibly life-changing for the children of Guatemala, who are currently suffering from congenital facial deformities such as a cleft lip, cleft nose, cleft palate, and microtia. The HUGS Foundation’s purpose on these missions is to provide free corrective surgery to children around the world who are suffering, in hopes of changing their lives for the better. Every volunteer attending is required to donate towards the mission, and all donations will go directly towards the cost of the trip. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, any donation made would be greatly appreciated.
