OVERVIEW
I'm raising money to transcribe the key video interviews, bodycam footage, news magazine specials, and documents to make the information in them accessible to reporters, law enforcement, and web sleuths, as well as use the data to inform videos I've started publishing to my YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/annielytics.
CURRENT STATUS
We reached our goal for initial batch of videos, but I increased the GoFundMe amount by $1700 to try to add all the videos from Chad Daybell's hearing (day 1: https://bit.ly/cd-hearing-01 // day 2: https://bit.ly/cd-hearing-02). It's a total of 939 minutes of video at a rev.com automated transcription cost of $1.50/min + ~$300 to manually export the transcription from paragraph format to a format that works for a database and add in extra columns of data.
There will also be another Dateline special in the fall. Those have to be transcribed manually because rev.com can't work with its video player, at a cost of $300/episode.

SURPLUS PLAN
If we don't meet the goal to add the Chad Daybell hearing (which is 939 mins of video) and future hearings but have money left over when these cases close, any extra money raised will go to The Center for Missing and Exploited Children (@MissingKids), and the receipt will be published in the public tracking spreadsheet (link above).
