Trans Retreat at Camp One Heartland

This is a community-organized event and we would love your support to make it happen. Our goal is to provide an inter-generational space for transgender, gender nonbinary, and gender diverse folx to gather in the wilderness, connect with nature, with one another, and have some fun.

We are organizing this with limited resources and a commitment to making it accessible to all including registration fees, transportation, childcare, and sign language access.

We hope to cultivate a space that allows trans folks to feel free. Life has been challenging under our current regime, and honestly through lifetimes of significant barriers, especially for queer and trans people of color. We are asking for support in manifesting a place of freedom, respite, and trans joy. Gas, food, child care, and safety cost money. We are hoping to create a space that we wish to see in the world, a space to be bold and a space that centers care for ourselves and each other. We are asking for your support to do this. We are already crafting the activities, dances, hikes, thinking of decorations, and packing our blankets for some star gazing. There will be something for all of us and with your support, we can make this happen!
