Trans parent fighting for custody battle in red state

My trans nibling (I will call him Wade for anonymity) has been forced to live with his deadname and no gender-affirming healthcare for the last 5 years as he petitions for custody of his biological children in a very red county in a very red state.

His partner (we’ll call him Tom) was unwell and abusive to both Wade and the children. We had to involve CPS to get Wade and the kids to safety. Tom unalived himself.

Sadly, the court granted "temporary" guardianship to Tom’s sister, Mary. Mary and the extended family are physically and emotionally abusive to the children. The children are also consistently around their grandparents who have histories of child neglect and endangerment and alleged child SA. We are incredibly scared for the children’s safety and wellbeing. Wade has bravely recovered from 3 years of abuse and is doing everything in his power to get his kids back.

Tom’s family does all they can to limit contact with Wade or Wade’s family because of political differences. They’ve convinced CPS that Wade is incapable and the MAGA judge and GAL assigned to the case are not even giving us a chance. The children want to live with Wade and just visit Mary but are afraid to say that. We have thankfully found good lawyers and psychiatrists but need to raise funds for medical, court, and attorney fees.
