Trans people have increased rates of depression and suicidal behaviors, and often have financial barriers in accessing safe mental health services. As the transphobic rhetoric nationwide, but particularly in red states like Tennessee, continues to perpetuate harm, community support is more important than ever. 
 Memphis TransLove and Love Doesn't Hurt are teaming up to create a mental health fund to serve our Shelby County LGBTQ community! 

“Love Doesn’t Hurt” provides emergency shelter, transportation, food, clothing and relocation for victims of domestic and sexual violence in the LGBTQ+ Community in Shelby County area. Love Doesn’t Hurt also provides education about domestic and sexual violence particularly in these communities. You can learn more at lovedoesnthurt901.com.
