Trans Festive Fundraiser

Hello,

As many people are aware, since Covid hit, I have fundraised each year to be able to send out small hampers to cheer up LGBT+ people who will be alone over the Festive period.

This year is no different - even though Covid is no longer the issue that it was, the Trans community are facing unrelenting pressure from the Media and Government, and anti-Trans bigots. People are feeling more isolated than ever, and many people are nervous about coming out to family and friends for fear of rejection. Many already are dealing with that scenario and nobody should have to feel that they are alone and unwanted over the one period of the year when we are all supposed to be enjoying the company of others and "goodwill to all".

I can't be everywhere all at once, I'm not Santa after all. But I would like to be able to continue my tradition and bring a little joy to people if I can.

Any funding left over will go toward a Trans Wellbeing Day in London, January 2025. I am still looking for people to help me make this happen too - a day to help Trans people become empowered as well as learn more about self-care.
