Trail Life Freedom Project: Outdoor Sanctuary

My name is Seth Flint, and I am working toward my Trail Life Freedom Award, the highest honor in Trail Life, which recognizes years of service, leadership, and dedication. For my Freedom Award service project, I am taking on an ambitious challenge: remodeling and building an outdoor sanctuary at a campsite in Julian, California. This project will involve refurbishing benches, rebuilding a stage with powered lights, and adding custom-built features to create a memorable outdoor gathering site for campers and the local community.

The Freedom Award is the pinnacle achievement in Trail Life, and this project represents the culmination of my journey. I have poured my heart into planning and preparing for this service project, hoping to leave a lasting legacy that will benefit others for years to come. The sanctuary will provide a welcoming space for gatherings, events, and moments of reflection in nature.

All funds raised will go directly toward purchasing materials, tools, lighting, and covering necessary expenses for the project. If I am fortunate enough to exceed my fundraising needs, any extra funds will be used to support other Freedom projects or given as a Love donation to the campsite for ongoing maintenance. I would be deeply grateful for your support to help make this project a reality and create a lasting impact for the community.
