Traditional weavers of the Upper East Ghana

Hi, my name is Alan and I am raising funds to help a group of around 50 women in Ghana, who are struggling to survive despite producing amazing quality fabrics. Currently they are working in very poor conditions, with considerable workplace harm occurring due to inadequate access to machinery and somewhere to work out of the sun.

We have found a safe location and can provide the machinery they need to transform their lives. The funds we seek here will cover the costs of machinery procurement and for two years rent of the factory building. By the end of the two years the women will be in a financially strong position and will require no more support.

By helping these women now, we provide security for them that will enable them to keep their kids in school, breaking the poverty cycle over time.
